This super creepy skull tag from Barbara uses new stamps and dies from Tim Holtz. She created a cool background with alcohol inks and included lots of texture from glitter paper, domed eyes, black mesh and a metal key and chain. Take a closer peek at the Yaya Scrap and More blog.
This little grim reaper and his cat are being visited by some ghostly kitties on an ATC card from Stephanie. She used stamps from Sweet November, colored her images with colored pencils and added some neon jelly roll pen for a ghostly glow on the cats. I spotted her card on the Sweet November Instagram page.
Caly is cooking up a cauldron brew on this card that uses new dies and stamps from Lawn Fawn. The bright green potion really stands out against her ink blended purple background created with Distress Oxide Inks. There’s also a die cut spider web with a few little stamped spiders. I know these aren’t cards but I had to share these creepy stamped home decor frames from Juliana. For these mixed media projects she painted wooden shadow boxes in brown adding crackle medium, placing tied black ribbon to the tops. Inside are pattern papers and stamped images aged with watercolor crayons and distressed along the edges. Watch her video tutorial on the 17 Turtles blog.
This dark Halloween card from Nicki has an ink blended background using Liquid Pearls for some shimmer with an eerie stamped tree, spooky owls and funky sentiment. Take a closer look over on the Honey Bee Stamps blog.

Sabrina create 4 amazing 3D book boxes inspired by 4 classic horror books. I’m a huge fan of Edgar Allan Poe so of course The Raven is my favorite featuring the Raven sitting on a skull with the title and author, it looks like a real book jacket. Inside is an amazing layered diorama, all created with dies. You can watch her video tutorial and check out the other books on the Scrappy Tails blog.
You can still add some bright colors to creepy cards like the bold oranges and purples on this graveyard card from Rachel. She used dies to design her scene with bats flying around a tombstone, thick dark grass and a creepy cobweb in the corner. Visit the Spellbinders blog for more details.
This fa-boo-lous Trick or Treat Card has a die cut and foiled sentiment, glittery die cut bats and a stamped and heat embossed background colored with alcohol inks. Learn more about Silvana’s card on the Picket Fence blog.
