You will need:
Hook Size: 3,5 mm
Cotton yarn 70 g
Size: Adults 9.5 inches
Instructions:
Use white yarn.
To begin make 4 chains in a circle.
Rnd 1: 2 chains (CH), 13 double crochet stitches (DC), Total 13 DC. Connect it with a slip stitch (sl st).
Rnd 2: 2 CH, 2 DC in the first stitch, *2 DC in the next stitch, *repeat to the end of row. Connect with a sl st. Total 26 DC
Rnd 3: Add an extra 9 loops.
2 CH, DC in the first stitch, 2 DC in one stitch, *DC in the next two stitches, 2 DC in one stitch *repeat to the end row. Connect with a slip stitch. Total stitches 35 DC.
Rnd 4 – 8: Switch to a red yarn.
2 CH, DC in the first st, DC in the next 34 st. Connect with a sl st. Total 35 DC.
Rnd 9 – 10: Switch to a black yarn.
2 CH, DC in the first st, DC in the next 34 st. Connect with a sl st. Total 35 DC.
Rnd 11 – 13: Switch to a red yarn.
2 CH, DC in the first st, DC in the next 34 st. Connect with a sl st. Total 35 DC.
Measure 10 stitches. Put the stitch markers between them. Work 25 stitches from one stitch marker to another.
