Karlla created 3 rows of photos, tags and embellishments for a lose grid pattern on this hauntingly wonderful layout. There’s lots of depth in her design and she even created her own 3D brooms using straws and paper! Take a closer peek at the Simple Stories blog.

Brianna created a large wide border across the top of her page using layers of pattern papers but the patterns are small and they share the same color scheme so it’s not too busy. Over top she added her title with a scene and then repeated with another cute fence scene at the bottom. Learn more at the Doodlebug Blog.
This awesome mixed media Pumpkin Carving layout has die cut spider webs, sticker title, black paint, rubber stamping, rub-ons and some wonderful quilled designs of a pumpkin and black cat. You can find the link to a process video over on The Cherry on Top blog.
Add more color and texture to your printed dies by adding stitching. Audrey used coordinating colors of floss and a chain stitch to add her sewing on several of the images on her delightful Halloween layout. There’s also a black twig wreath to help pull all the images and photos together. Take a closer look at the Paige Taylor Evans blog.
If you love to dress up your pet for Halloween don’t forget to make layouts for them too. Instead of traditional Halloween you can use products that work with your pet’s costume instead like this darling design from Karen. She used alphabet dies that come with holes so you can add stitching for the title and hexagons cut from pattern papers. I love all the cute little bee’s buzzing around! Find more at the Spellbinders blog.
This spooky kooky layout is very sentiment heavy with stacked sentiments in boxes to form a side border. There’s also a sentiment flag banner and date with die cut letters for each kids name. Some scallops and haunted houses add a few more borders too. Marci used a sketch for this design that you can find at the Scrapbooking Store blog.
Kristina used new stamps from Stampin’ Up for these adorable black and grey kitten Halloween pages. I love how she heat embossed the black cat and cauldron stamps with white on black cardstock, it adds a cool chalky look. She also included other spooky stamped images like potions, a broom, spider webs, spell books and more. Watch her process video at the Creating with Kristina blog.
This layout has some terrific texture like foiled witches hats using toner sheets, sewing, sequins, chipboard elements, cheese cloth and folded layers of pattern papers. Jessica is sharing her process video over on the Therm O Web blog.
One of my favorite places to visit this time of year is Disney World, the Halloween party is so much fun! There’s so many great photo ops like these large pumpkins in front of the train station. Kristin used lots of Disney inspired accents and a Mickey Pumpkin die to decorate her delightful Disney Halloween layout. I spotted it on her Kristinfoung gallery at Scrapbook.com.
This layout keeps all the action across the center with split pattern paper top and bottom in orange and black spider webs and bat and costume borders in the center with the photos in the middle. All around the photos are fun pumpkins, costumed kids, sentiments, black cats and bats. I came across this idea on the Echo Park Instagram page.
If you love adding lots of embellishments but don’t want all that bulk trying going digital. This colorful orange and purple layout from Sarah uses clusters of flowers and gems, an all over “die cut” word background, photo mats, flying bats and room for several photos and journaling but with not thickness. I came across her layout in the Sugerbabe gallery at the Sweet Shoppe.
And lastly here’s 4 wonderful Halloween layouts from Traci using new products from Photo Play. She included interactive elements such as a large pocket made from pattern paper filled with removable cards and hidden flaps behind words and images. Take a closer look at the Artsy Albums blog.
I hope you have a very Happy Scrappy Halloween!
